Gears are a component used in crafting and can be stacked in quantities of 20. They can be crafted from Scrap and Metal Fragments at a level 3 workbench, with a research cost of 60 Scrap. Gears may also be obtained from Scarecrows, Scarecrow Dungeons, Locked Crates, and Ghost Ship Locked Crates.
