About the server
RustAddicted PVE 5x has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. The server now sits much closer to the vanilla Rust experience while keeping what makes modded PVE fun: 5x rates, faster progression, quality-of-life improvements and events of our own design. The rebuild brought significantly better performance, reworked progression and balancing, reduced building upkeep, extended Tool Cupboard and Workbench range, and /sil support for putting your own images on signs and canvases.
A brand-new HUD built specifically for RustAddicted keeps important server info on screen while staying lightweight and clean. The custom-coded /info panel gives you quick access to server information, rules and commands, kits, Raidable Bases, and Discord and website links. After registering on rustaddicted.com and linking your Steam account you can claim a Member Kit — completely free, for life. And with the Nature system (/nature open) you can decorate your base with trees, furniture and other objects from the game world.
The world got new content too. Roughly every two to three hours a sunken Cargo Ship appears — the Shipwreck event — guarded by NPCs and filled with valuable loot. More than 30 custom-made monuments rotate around the map about every two hours, or after being completed and looted. Our Monument Lock system makes sure nobody steals your progress: when you start a puzzle or enter an eligible monument, it temporarily locks to you and your team — and it works with the custom monuments too. Hackable Crates count down faster and Supply Drops fall faster as well.
Building and raiding were rebuilt as well. The Build Tools (/build) handle mass upgrades, building in a chosen material tier, changing skins — even on already placed blocks — and symmetrical building, all written with performance in mind. Raidable Bases got a major rebuild: hundreds of new bases, new layouts across all difficulty tiers, redesigned loot tables and better balancing — pick a difficulty and buy a raid with scrap via /raid. Bases abandoned for more than three days become temporary raid events with PvP enabled inside the zone, special Building Sites let you claim unusual spots the normal terrain doesn't allow, and the raid cost tracker (/raidcost) converts the explosives you used into the total cost of a raid — with stats syncing to your web dashboard once your Steam account is linked.
On top of it all sits a completely new global leaderboard system covering all RustAddicted servers: playtime, resources gathered, raids completed, raid costs, accuracy and combat stats, Raidable Bases completed and more — with new categories, seasons and rewards planned. The server wipes weekly on Thursdays, blueprints wipe with the monthly force wipe, and admins are active on Discord — tickets get answered and newcomers get help.
